Introduction:

“The course of true love never did run smooth.”
~ William Shakespeare

A Moment

In a moment, time emerges eternal
A whisper in springtime delight
Seconds later, it turns into yesterday
Detained in memory adrift in flight
Souls converge in a constructed recess
As seconds pass, it is still now, no less
Hypnotized in caresses’ manifestation
We become lost to needless hesitation
As we land standing; bodies veiled in the sea
An inquiry to the heart arrives; Are you part me?

"Let Me Stay"

Are you cold?
Will you let me warm you?
Are you tired?
Will you lie next to me?

Don’t be scared
That I’ll leave you without warning
I’ve never cared this much, believe me
I’ll want you more by morning

You have lips
I could kiss for hours
I have time
I’m not going away

Please, just let me hold you
And love you like I told you
Baby, let me stay

You have lips
I could kiss for hours
I have time
I’m not going away

Please, just let me hold you
And love you like I told you
Baby, let me stay

Please, let me stay

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.”
    ― Pablo Neruda,
    100 Love Sonnets
