Introduction:
“At the end of the day, I just want to sit with someone I love and chat about what matters and even what doesn’t.” ~ Crystal Woods

I am waiting for one more test and hopefully this will be my freedom in mind and spirit. I get scared a lot lately and because of it want desperately to go home. I want to see all those special places I loved so dearly when I was a girl. Sadly, it’s too dangerous to go by myself right now. So, I will wait maybe God will grant this wish soon…

The song I am going to feature tonight speaks to my soul, my love, my happiness and sadness. The artist is Chris Gaines a fictional rock star persona from Australia created as an alter ego for Garth Brooks to explore rock and roll styles far removed from his success as a country singer.

I heard the song titled “It Don’t Matter to the Sun” while watching “For the Love of the Game” an amazing movie based on forty-year-old baseball pitcher Billy Chapel (Kevin Costner). But, as Chapel stands on the mound pitching the game of his life, his thoughts don't turn to his prized history in sports, but rather return again and again to his tumultuous relationship with Jane Aubrey (Kelly Preston), a single mom who has stood at his side through the good and the bad but is now on the verge of leaving him.

The seventh track in a greatest hits album titled “Garth Brooks in... The Life of Chris Gaines”, it was released on September 28, 1999. It reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, and also gained Brooks his first and to date only appearance on the U.S. Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. It’s a brilliant song with an alternative rock, country rock, country pop genre and I have added the lyrics for fun so you can read along. The video was uploaded on YouTube by One Click Guitar Channel on Mar 30, 2016.

“It Don’t Matter to the Sun”
It don't matter to the sun
If you go or if you stay
I know the sun is gonna rise
Shine down on another day
There will still be a tomorrow
Even if you choose to leave
'Cause it don't matter to the sun (oh baby)
It matters to me

It ain't gonna stop the world
If you walk out that door
This old world will just keep on turning 'round (Turning 'round)
Like it did the day before
'Cause see to them it makes no difference (ohh)
It just keeps on keepin' time
'Cause it ain't gonna stop the world (Oh baby)
But it'll be the end of mine

What can I say
What can I do
I'm still in love
So without you...

Mmm mmm mmm, oh yeah, oh yeah
What can I say
What can I do
I'm still in love
So without you

It don't matter the moon
If your not in my life
No the moon will just keep hangin' 'round (hangin' 'round)
Like it's just another night
Find another place to shine on down
On some other lovers dreams
'Cause it don't matter the moon (oh baby)
But is sure do matter to me
No it don't matter to the moon (oh baby)
But it matters to me

I hope you like this selection as much as I do and have a blessed evening or morning. Thank you for your continued support. Remember music is a language and these are my thoughts tonight.

Peace and Love always

Yes I am deeply in love... with you Sug...

Introduction:
“Oh, it makes a difference, I thought. And if it doesn't make a difference you will make it make a difference.”
― Chaim Potok

The Likes of You
There is only one urgent matter
And that is to be loved today
Into the uncertainty of tomorrow
At the risk of my heart and soul
By none other than the likes of you…

Introduction:

"I never give love to be romantic, it is out deep affection, tenderness, intimacy, fondness and friendship. My romantic soul is a color found in the image of the truth."― Diana Mary Sharpton

Blue

It’s true, I have been lost in dark clouds
Broken bits thrown into winds that howl
Walking circles in monotone seclusion
Be it, I don’t create an elusive intrusion

And then there is you…
Wanting love that is tangible; that one can feel
Lost in Storms, whispering pain; a maggot’s last meal
Without reason or word, I was hurled into an abyss
Why because souls touch, I love or some made up mess?

So there it is…
I’m blue for you regardless of the truth’s hidden gloom
As you touch my hand for a dance in this quiet room
Freely, I push aside this pain to follow your string
Not to prove romance, to bestow the gift of loving

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.”
