![]() Introduction: “She had blue skin, And so did he. He kept it hid And so did she. They searched for blue Their whole life through, Then passed right by- And never knew.” ~ Shel Silverstein, Every Thing on It Photography by Diana Mary Sharpton titled "Among Stones" I watched an event this evening hosted by Arizona Lowe. Her co-host was Tammy Cook and their guest was Blair Stuart, who is in his own right a marvelous photographer. I have watch this event on a different occasion when another friend, Darren Robinson was the guest. All I can say is Blair and Darren’s performance were literally polar opposites. This is not criticism It's an observation and a positive one at that. Darren appeared to have been having a glass of wine and was the life of the party. Blair on the hand appeared serious. Darren’s genre is art and Blair’s is abstracts art and photography. One thing I can say is that Darren’s personality is exactly what I expected; Blair on the other hand always impressed me as a tough, rough and somewhat a hard core man among men. This is not the person I saw tonight. Tonight, he seemed nervous, excited, somewhat like a fish out of water and overrun by an awkwardness, which was actually refreshing to watch. The show had an unfortunate feed issue (which is the third time this has happened) and therefore Blair’s presence and or presentation was cut short. I would hope that whoever is supervising the technical aspects of this event will work on developing a stronger connection, coordinate and test the connectivity prior to the next event and that Arizona gives Blair a second chance to discuss all of his beautiful photography in more detail. Anyway, my song tonight is a premiere sung by Brandon Flowers titled “can't deny my love” with asynth pop, alternative rock, new wave, heartland rock, post-punk revival genre. I hope you like this selection and have a blessed evening or morning. Thank you for your continued support. Remember music is a language and these are my thoughts tonight. Diana Mary Sharpton“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.” Categories
