![]() "That's How" by Diana Mary Sharpton Photography Jntroduction: “We must not be defined by what we do, but we must be what and who we are, then only happen to do what we do!” ― C. JoyBell C. Day before yesterday it rained and was very cold. A rain so hard that I thought the ceiling would fall in at one point. I didn't leave the house, better yet my room or bed. My mood was not much better than the weather, dark and foreboding. Yesterday, it was overcast but you could see the sun on occasion. My children came by and invited me to eat... Afterwards, we all came back to my apartment and watched football... while my daughter-in-law made cupcakes... They were amazing by the way (my children and the cupcakes). It was a glorious Thanks Giving, after all... it was like they never had left... they were still my babies... time really does fly by... and in a couple of weeks my son will marry… Today, I got up at the break of dawn, with hope in my heart, love in my soul and worked out until my body said “let’s go home please”… my spirit has started to lift, hopefully tomorrow the sun will shine… giving us a bright and glorious Texas fall day..... ps... It's okay if it rains now...:) Happy Holiday weekend ~D Xxx for you Sugar Diana Mary Sharpton ~ Poetry & Photography ©All Rights Reserve 2017 Contact: DianaMSharpton@Gmail.com

Diana Mary Sharpton“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.” Categories
